Purpose

To be an avenue through which men can be reconciled to God and made whole in every area of their lives. When men are made whole by the transforming power of Christ, families and their communities are able to be made whole. In supporting men in their Christian walk, and development towards spiritual maturity, men will be challenged through Bible study, prayer meetings, and times of fellowship. This ministry is designed to develop productive relationships between Christian men, both within and outside of the WIN-SD family. 
Goals 
  • Plan, promote and conduct Men's Ministry Executive and General Ministry Meetings
  • Express the Biblical principle and verses that undergird our ideals and actions
  • To pray and lead others to pray for the Will of God
  • Organize the ministry and conduct activities and meetings to keep the men in harmony with the Will and Spirit of God 
  • To volunteer to stand up as men to lead our family as to the church
  • To trust God and be spiritually alert
Qualities of a Core Leader

A Core Leader:
  • Possesses integrity
  • Does not participate in gossip
  • Does not harm others 
  • Speaks out against the wrong 
  • Honors others who walk in the truth 
  • Keeps their word even at personal cost
  • Is not greedy to gain 
  • at the expense of others
  • Is strong and stable 
Core Responsibilities

  2. Must display God-confidence in service 
  3. Must maintain integrity by respecting others 
  4. Must desire to increase knowledge/wisdom through Bible/seminar
  5. Must have the heart of meeting the need with excellence and generosity 
  6. Must have the passion to put others first in their thinking 
  7. Must possess a servant heart in order to be an effective leader
  8. Must have the willingness to invest time
  9. Must be a transparent 
  10. Must have the heart that is consistent, constrite, courageous, conventional, committed, and captivated.
